INGREDIENTS:

crust
  • 25 pcs. Cream-O Vanilla Cookies
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
filling
  • 1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 and ⅛ cups heavy cream
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, at room temperature, cut into cubes
  • 4 bananas, sliced
Topping
  • ¼ cup all purpose cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, sifted
  • ¼ tsp. Vanilla

PROCEDURE:

CRUST:

Crush 25 Cream-O cookies with a rolling pin until fine. Melt 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter then stir the crushed Cream-O cookies and butter together.

FILLING:

Heat 1 and ⅛ cups of heavy cream in a sauce pan. Pour the hot cream over 1 ½ cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips until melted. Then gradually mix in ¼ cup of cubed unsalted butter until smooth. Let the mixture cool in room temperature until thick.

TOPPING:

Whisk ¼ cup of all-purpose cream until stiff. Add 1 tablespoon of powdered sifted sugar and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla. Beat until thick. Chill for 30 minutes.

LAYER:

Press some of the crust mixture into the bottom of a container. Layer sliced bananas, half of the chocolate filling, crust mixture, then another layer of sliced bananas, and the remaining chocolate filling. Top off with a layer of whipped cream. Then decorate your ref cake with banana slices and Cream-O cookies. Refrigerate before serving and enjoy!
